Sturridge backs united Blues

Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge believes the squad at Stamford Bridge are united under manager Andre Villas-Boas, despite pressure building on the west London outfit.
The Portuguese boss is feeling the pressure at the Premier League outfit as they already find themselves out of the race for the title, with Manchester United and Manchester City set to battle it out for crown. People who bet on Champions League games need to bear this in mind.
Chelsea produced another disappointing display in their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City and will now face a tricky trip to St Andrews to try and get the better of the Championship outfit to reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
The Blues will have to put the frustration of the domestic cup behind them when they take on Napoli on Tuesday in the Champions League.
With rumours of a fractured dressing room at The Bridge and the performances on the field not going according to plan, the spotlight is on Chelsea. Those looking to bet on Champions League betting need to remember this.
However Strurridge, who has established himself in the first-team at the club following a loan spell with Bolton Wanderers last season, believes the squad are together and are ready for their trip to Naples this week.
The former City striker told the club’s website: “I don’t think it is a defining week for the club but hopefully we don’t get in the same situation as against Birmingham where we have to come from behind.
“We are all together as one and we are not a divided unit. We are a family and we’ve got a good unit going here and I think maybe we will see that in the next few games.”
