So we’ve been to Barcelona over the week-end and I tell you: these guys are crazy…! Looking for a recent Barcelona shirt? No problem, you’ll find them at every corner. Home, away, third, training, kick-off… you name it. And hey, they got a giant stadium, wow.

Well, what I really wanted to buy apart from the yellow away Barcelona (see pic) was the red Espanyol (pic 2) away shirt by Uhlsport. Go and try. I did not find one store in Barcelona that carried them – maybe I was just in the wrong part of the city. Funny looks too when I asked about it. Okay, I got it: Barcelona is Catalanya, Espanyol is… not…?

Unlucky me that Barcelona played in Madrid the weekend we visited town, it would have been great to attend a game in Camp Nou. By the way, they lost to Atletico Madrid.

So as for the Espanyol shirt, I will have to order it online.
