Oldfootballshirts.com Player Sponsorship League table Season 08-09.

For a bit of fun I am running an Oldfootballshirts.com League table for the 4 teams we now sponsor. We’re doing this for the entire seasons league results only, we sponsor players kits for Brighton, Newport County, Annan Athletic & Bangor FC.

Sorry for slacking a bit, had a lot on, so here goes, 2 weeks worth of updates for you. Most of the links this week take you to Retro shirts of your favourite teams, don;t forget to get your Christmas orders in!

So, for Bangor, since 24th November, we’ve seen a 4-0 win at home against Coleraine and a 0-0 draw away against Linfield. Oldfootballshirts sponsored players Andrew Plummer and Jim McMenamin featured in both games, great to hear they are doing well for the side.

 

For The Albion a defeat and a draw make up the past 2 weeks away results. 0-1 at Stockport County, who are doing well in the other league right now, and a creditable 0-0 draw with high flying Oldham at Boundary Park. toil. On the reserves front, postponenments and cancelations abound, but Millwall hosted them on Tuesday, and won 4-2.  Our man Scott Chamberlain, played, but I guess the Lions had a stronger side out with a number of first teamers playing.

Newport County suffered a 0-1 home defeat to Bishops Stortford and an away 0-0 with Thurrock. Craig Hughes is ever present at the moment and will be doing everything to help the Exiles to climb the table.

 

 

Annan Athletic, the curse of the weather, that and being out of the cup, has limted Annan to a couple of firendly matches in the past 2 weeks, so nothing to report. But watch them, several games in hand, a winning runn and they’ll be right back up in the OFS league table.

 

Bangor still sitting pretty, but a run from Annan would see them right back up there. Here is the table as it stands today;
