Well not exactly, but almost. Marseille is about 30 km east of where we stay during our coming vacations (next Saturday, yeah!). But it is the nearest serious town with a great football club: Olympique Marseille of 90’s fame, some problems in the 2000’s but back in the Champions league.

The French are crazy. Totally crazy about Rugby! You wouldn’t believe, but it’s true. And the citizens of the Regions Var and Bouche du Rhone are also crazy about Olympique Marseille, football that is. Their matches are being watched in Bars, Cafés, Restaurants and it’s loud. Very loud. Great fun to be there… even if you wear an Olympique Lyonnais shirt (quite suicidal though).

Not too bad, right? If you look closely you can see a shadowy insert on he upper left side of the home shirt. Quite well done, I really like that! Good job Adidas.
