Kit sponsorship, not all sweetness and light!

Well that was a disastrous first weekend of kit sponsorship for oldfootballshirts.com!
Brighton 0 – 1 Walsall.
Shocking home defeat, Walsall down to 9 men in the first half, then had the audacity to not only score, but to go on and win the game. Thankfully our player, Scott Chamberlain, wasn’t playing.
Newport County 0 – 1 St Albans City.
Our player, Craig Hughes played, but in a game that sounds like it was devoid of much entertainment, the best bit I could get out of the match report was;
“The match was treated to a moment of comedy when Saints towering centre-half Ben Martin was correctly cautioned but the referee resembled Ronnie Corbett lecturing John Cleese as he waved the card at the defender.
There was no other memory to cherish.”
Annan Athletic 1 – 3 Forfar Athletic.
The mighty Forfar came to town, match reports reads “Annan Athletic became the latest team to suffer at the hands of Forfar Athletic’s excellent away record after the Angus side recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory at Galabank on Saturday.” Our player,
Ryan Adamnson didn’t feature, which is a shame, who knows what contribution he could have made?
And finally, oh dear,
Bangor FC 0 – 5 Linfield
Well, as we haven’t actually signed our players from Bangor yet (watch this space) we’ll just say, least said the better.
All the best for Newport, Brighton, Annan and Bangor in their next matches, it really can’t get any worse than that can it?
