Craig Hughes on the Newport County website - Adopted by www.oldfootballshirts.com

Our second shirt sponsorship is Craig Hughes of Newport County AFC (currently playing in the Blue Square South division).

I’ve been a County fan for years going to see the matches with my Dad as a kid and then later on as a student in Oxford. Now, being the wife of the oldfootballshirts.com web designer (Supermark), I am super proud that we’re sponsoring an Exile!

Craig joined the County in November 2005.  He is 30 years old, and  a favorite at the County.  He was Player of the Year at County in 2006-07 and scored the winner in the 2008 FAW Premier Cup Final (although Supermark missed the fantastic goal, as he was on the loo at the time).  He is also a  Welsh semi-professional international, Craig I mean, not Supermark.

Unfortunately, living in Cyprus I cannot get to see any of the County matches, so will be relying on the Blue Square South website, and the recently introduced internet radio station http://www.live365.com/stations/ncafc to follow the progress of our player.
